Recent owner of a ASUS PRIME Z270-A motherboard. The software syncs with the driver at boot to collect the impedance value after you log into your computer, I recommend doing a full shutdown and restarting your computer after plugging in your audio gear if you want the most accurate impedance value of your setup.Hi. The impedance is pretty accurate and will be affected by the audio cable you are using, if it is really long this may add slightly more electrical resistance in your setup increasing the impedance. Otherwise if you are satisfied with how loud your system gets I recommend setting it on Performance for potentially better sound quality and less distortion at higher volumes. A Logitech Z607 would probably be fine on the Powerful setting if you wanted to get a bit more volume out of your setup. ![]() It depends on the spec of the speaker you are using. Setting the amplify level to extreme may damage some speakers if used at high volumes. On some devices this may distort your audio at high volume settings, potentially causing damage to the speaker in some cases at full volume. ![]() Sort of like allowing you to overclock your audio equipment by sending the speakers more power than stock at 100% volume. I believe it is simply amplifying any audio output being sent out of your computer, so if you set it to extreme, it sends more power to your headset or other speakers you have attached.
